Friday Weekending Roundup 2/1/08

So, I've struggled through a few days worth of generating episodic reviews of the various anime's that I'm watching. It's not actually that hard, just takes a bit of time to generate the image, which I probably need a bit more experience at. Anyways, I think it's a somewhat successful experiment, at least if my data analysis in Google Analytics is anything to go by.

Anyways, I think I'll keep trucking along in this nature--at least for the short term.

Now that that's said, I'm still poking and prodding at the various book reviews I have to write. Nothing on that front, but that's perfectly dandy.

As for animes themselves, Clannad should be out tonight and I also have Spice and Wolf episode 4 to watch.

In other anime news, and much to my surprise, Bandai has already licensed the anime True Tears, which is still playing over in Japan. This is a somewhat startlingly change of pace for a North American distributor which usually waits at least until the series is finished before they begin the process to pick up the license. Since it has been licensed in North America, that means that the fansubbing will stop, and we'll have to wait for the expensive DVD's to come out before we can finish watching this show. Just another reason for me to seriously think about learning how to speak Japanese.

Maybe this weekend I'll get around to watching all those episodes of The Connor Chronicles I have saved on my DVR.
